Terms of Service, Privacy Policy & Refund Policy

1. Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and LR AgroSense ("we", "us", "LR AgriPrep") for using the LR AgriPrep website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1.1 Who can use LR AgriPrep

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the knowledge and consent of your parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Paid plans must be purchased by, or with the permission of, an adult.
• You must give correct information when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else is using it.
• One account is for one person. Do not share or sell your account.

1.2 What the Service provides

• An AI tutor that answers agriculture study questions, analyses photos (crops, leaves, pests, flowers), helps with question papers and files you upload, and creates practice quizzes, in English, Hindi and Telugu.
• Three AI models (LR Doha, LR Kavya, LR Mahakavya), progress tracking, and Free and paid plans with the limits shown on the Plans screen.
• We may add, change or remove features, and change plan limits or prices in the future. Changes will not reduce a plan you have already paid for until its end date.

1.3 AI answers: important

• Answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, give incomplete or outdated information, or misidentify a plant, pest or disease from a photo.
• LR AgriPrep is a study aid only. It is not professional agronomic, veterinary, legal, medical or financial advice. Always check important facts with your textbooks, teachers, official sources (such as ICAR and state agricultural universities) and qualified experts, especially before using any pesticide, fertilizer or treatment in a field. Always follow product label instructions and local laws.
• We are not responsible for exam results, crop losses or any decision you take based on AI answers.

1.4 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful or sexually explicit, or to harass anyone;
• upload content you do not have the right to share, or other people's personal information without their permission;
• use the Service to cheat in an exam while it is being conducted, or to break the rules of any exam body or institution;
• try to hack, overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the Service, bypass limits or payments, or create accounts automatically;
• resell or commercially redistribute AI answers or quizzes without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund where the misuse is serious.

1.5 Your content

• You keep ownership of the questions, photos and files you send. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service to you (for example, to generate answers and show your chat history).
• The LR AgriPrep name, logo, design and software belong to LR AgroSense. You may use AI answers for your personal study.

1.6 Paid plans and payments

• Paid plans (Plus, Pro, Max) are a one-time payment for 30 days of access. There is no automatic renewal and no auto-debit. You can renew whenever you choose.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Fair use: unlimited features are meant for one person's normal study use. We may limit automated or abusive usage.
• Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy below.

1.7 Availability and liability

• We work hard to keep the Service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted.
• To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of crops, income, data or exam outcomes).

1.8 Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may close accounts that break these terms or the law.

1.9 Changes and governing law

• We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will show a notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
• These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts in India having jurisdiction over LR AgroSense.

2. Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data LR AgriPrep collects, why, and your choices. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India.

2.1 Data we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, SMS, call logs or device ID, and we do not use advertising trackers. The camera is used only when you choose "Take photo", and only the photo you take is uploaded.

2.2 Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run LR AgriPrep, and only what they need:

• AI providers (such as Google Gemini, Groq and xAI): your question, attached photos/files and recent chat context are sent to generate an answer. They process it to provide the answer under their API terms.
• Razorpay: to process payments.
• Google: for "Continue with Google" sign-in, and Google Search when an answer needs current facts (only the search query is sent).
• MongoDB Atlas (database) and Render (hosting): to store and run the Service on secure servers, which may be located outside India.
• Brevo: to send account emails such as password-reset links.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, only when required by Indian law.

2.3 How long we keep data

• Account, chats, photos, files and quiz history: while your account is active. You can delete individual chats, all chats, or your whole account at any time.
• When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active database immediately and from backups within 30 days.
• Payment records are kept for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting laws, even after account deletion.

2.4 Security

Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Access to the database is restricted. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will inform affected users and authorities of any serious breach as required by law.

2.5 Your rights

• Access and download: Settings → Data controls → Export chats.
• Correct: change your name and language in Settings → Account.
• Delete: delete chats or your whole account in Settings (see Delete your account).
• Withdraw consent / complain: contact our Grievance Officer (see Contact). You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

2.6 Children

LR AgriPrep is meant for students preparing for agriculture courses and exams. It is not directed at children under 13. Users under 18 should use the app with a parent's or guardian's consent. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

2.7 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and important changes will be shown in the app.

3. Refunds & cancellation

• Paid plans are a one-time payment for 30 days with no auto-debit, so there is nothing to cancel. The plan simply ends on its end date unless you renew.
• Payment deducted but plan not active? Email us with your registered email and Razorpay payment ID. We will activate your plan or give a full refund.
• Not happy? You can request a full refund within 48 hours of payment by emailing us with your registered email and payment ID.
• Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method within 5–7 working days (bank timelines may vary).
• After 48 hours, payments are not refundable, but your plan stays active until its end date. Refunds may be refused for accounts closed for misuse.

4. Delete your account and data

In the app or website:

1. Log in and open Settings (gear icon at the bottom of the menu).
2. Go to Account → Delete account.
3. Enter your password (or type DELETE if you signed up with Google) and confirm.

Without logging in: email us from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my LR AgriPrep account". We will delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted: your account, profile, all chats, uploaded photos and files, AI answers and quiz history. What is kept: payment records required by law (see 2.3). You can also delete only your chats (not your account) in Settings → Data controls.

5. Service delivery

LR AgriPrep is a fully online digital service. There is no physical product or shipping. Paid plans are activated instantly after successful payment and can be used on the website or app by logging in to the same account.
